Supporting Your Fertility Journey

Maybe you have experienced multiple losses on the journey to grow your family? Or maybe you’re three failed IUIs in and are wondering how you are going to navigate your next steps or are struggling to figure out what you even want to do next? Or maybe you’re holding the sweet baby that you worked SO hard for but are realizing that while you are incredibly grateful, you shoved down a lot of grief and unmet expectations that are slowly starting to creep in during those 3AM feeds? Fertility journeys are a rollercoaster of hope, disappointment and uncertainty and you don’t have to face that journey alone.

    Fertility Journey

I have specialized training in working with individuals and couples facing fertility challenges. I strive to understand the complexities that come with assisted reproduction methods and you will never have to explain what HSG, IUI, IVF, two-week wait, clomid, lupron, letrozole, beta testing, eggs retrieved, embryos frozen, genetic testing, frozen embryo transfer or diminished ovarian reserve mean. I can work alongside your medical team in helping you process your emotions, manage stress, and develop coping strategies to best support your path.

    Miscarriage & Loss

About 1 in 4 known pregnancies end in loss, but when you include losses prior to a missed menstrual cycle, it’s closer to 1 in 2…50%. Pregnancy loss and miscarriage are deeply personal experiences that often bring up feelings of grief, sadness, anger and confusion. Whether your loss occurred at 13 weeks or 30 weeks, the space held for you will be validating, warm, and compassionate. I will mirror your language in speaking about your loss and can support you in finding ways to honor your loss in a way feels right to you.

    Termination

Whether it’s an elective termination or termination for medical reasons (TFMR), I believe that these choices are personal and complex and I will meet you with unconditional empathy and understanding. The decision to terminate a pregnancy can bring about a wide range of emotions such as grief, guilt, relief, and sadness. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can freely explore and express these emotions without fear or judgment or assumption, process your experiences, and find healing.
